1. i.e., what will happen will happen and even the worst of days will come to an end.

2. Here Macbeth dismisses the thought of Duncan's murder and he decides to let events run their natural course. However, as we will see in Act 1, Scene 4, the moment it appears the future is not going according to the witches' prophesy, Macbeth's thoughts turn again to the murder of the king.
